ELITAZ, the creators of the hugely popular reality series "Tiltas" and "Tiltas 2", in cooperation with Telia Play, are preparing a 12-episode reality series "The Flag" in an original format and a project never seen before in the world, with the Lithuanian Armed Forces as a strategic partner. Auditions start today and there is an impressive prize of EUR 50,000 up for grabs.
"Flag is a unique reality format developed by ELITAZ together with the British production company Black Book Media, which combines strategy, psychology, physical challenges and surprises that constantly push participants out of their comfort zone. It is a challenge that will put the ability to adapt, to think, to make decisions under pressure and to work together as a team at the heart of it.
The project will involve realistic military training and defence tasks. Each episode will not only be an intensive education and meaningful entertainment for the viewer, but also a tactical, psychological and physical survival test for the participants themselves. Each episode is an exercise-based daily routine: training, discipline, responsibility, camp life, psychological challenges and decisions that will have real consequences. The project will use a wide range of technologies and innovations for defence.

It's not enough to be physically strong - you'll need to think strategically, keep a cool head, learn intensively how to manage the latest technology and work as a team when the pressure is on. In cooperation with the Lithuanian Armed Forces, we aim not only to show the audience the real challenges, but also to underline what a technologically advanced and modern country we are today." - says Gediminas Jaunius, Chief Producer of ELITAZ.
It is important to stress that participants do not have to be professional soldiers or have any special training. "The Flag is designed as an experience and education for all. Through the experiences of the participants, the audience will see up close how much patience, endurance and inner strength the work of soldiers requires, and at the same time will be invited to take a fresh look at the subject of national defence, citizenship and personal responsibility.
