And this is just some of the brightest stars of the scene, who were not scared away by the invitation of the M1 Music Awards organisers to organise spectacular, unexpected joint performances in Kaunas Žalgiris Arena on December 3, prepared especially for this one night only. International names will be added to the roster, as our artists and musicians will be joined by foreign bands that are topping the charts.
"When creating the concept of the event, we tried to focus on unexpected, brand new collaborations between the most famous artists and musicians. This in itself means not only a greater challenge for us as organisers, but also for the stars: for the awards, the newly re-imagined hits will be performed live in the arena, more rehearsals will be needed, compromises with other artists will have to be found, and it will take a lot of physical effort to prepare for the spectacular shows with dancers, musicians and effects. In addition, there will be some brand new songs created by the artists gathered for the occasion, which are already obvious potential future hits", - Gediminas Jaunius, Chief Producer of Kūrybos namai ELITAZ, reveals more details about what the audience will see on stage.
"When you set out to create something that has never been created before, and to connect something that has never been connected before, the verdict is clear: never-ending challenges. And God will not lie - there is no shortage of them. Nevertheless, it is already clear that it will pay off in spades. It will be a great surprise for the audience when popular hits will be performed in a different way, in the voices of other artists, in a different style, and just for these awards. Stars who are currently at the peak of their popularity, up-and-coming, promising, and unjustly forgotten names will also come together on stage for one night. I probably would never have believed that such collaborations of not only Lithuanian but also foreign artists and bands as we are preparing for the event are possible," says Julius Valančiauskas, the head of the music part of the M1 Music Awards.
Combined with the announcement of the winners of as many as 13 nominations, the M1 Music Awards will be a 3-hour show full of the brightest musical names and surprises. Before it starts, invited guests, the cream of the country's show business, will walk the blue carpet in the VIP area and pose for photographers.
It has already been announced that the awards will be conducted by M1 presenters Arnoldas Eisimantas, Paulius Vaitiekūnas, Skaiva Jasevičiūtė, Saulius Žvirgždas, Ričardas Mikavičius, Mantas Bružas, Gustas Ramonas, Joris Bačiulis, Gedas Saročka, Tomas Jazdauskas, Evaldas Mikalauskas, and Rolandas Mackevičius. However, this list is not yet final. The rest of the presenters, who will surely surprise many, will be announced shortly.
The vote of the people will decide these awards, which will be open to all who wish to vote online from the end of October. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 3 December at Kaunas Žalgiris Arena. The event will be broadcast live on LNK TV.
