On 15 November, the Children's Favourite 2025 Awards will take place, the most glamorous show of the year. For the first time ever, the awards, which will take place in Klaipėda's Švyturys Arena, will bring together not only the brightest stars of the stage, but also all the families who want to be part of this unique celebration. The hosts of the new awards have been announced today, including Audrius Bruzas, a much-loved actor, the charismatic Gelminė Glemžaitė, and one of the most famous children's characters - Kakė Makė.
The organisers of the awards, the ELITAZ creative house and the Kakės Makės brand, promise not only a special celebration for children, but also a spectacular stage adventure for audiences of all ages in Lithuania. Winners in more than 10 categories will be announced during the Awards, including favourite child actors, sports performers, content creators and even toys. These are the only awards in Lithuania that put the power of decision in the hands of children - the ones who not only follow the content, but also actively shape the trends today.
For actress Gelmine Glemžaite, the awards will be a special debut - the first live television broadcast of her career. "Naturally, there is some excitement, there always is, before doing something for the first time. But the excitement is nice - it's fun to try something new and push the boundaries of your comfort zone. Plus, I will have a very experienced partner in this field, who I think will both encourage me and give me a hand if I fall off - both literally and figuratively. Audrius and I have worked together before, and he is not only fun, but there is also a lot to learn."
The actress admits that she is well aware that children are a demanding audience, but her years of experience on the theatre stage will help to ensure that neither children nor adults will be bored. "I'm genuinely curious to find out who the children's favourites will be this year, and it's great to be able to be a part of this celebration. I have acted in a number of plays for children, so I know how demanding the audience is and that children never fake it. If they don't like something or if they get bored, they will always show it. This sincerity both impresses me and obliges me - I hope we will live up to the expectations of all the audience and create an enjoyable spectacle for them, which will also remind them that a child's opinion is just as important as an adult's."
Meanwhile, the third presenter - Kakė Makė - will not only give out the awards on stage, but also promises to create an exciting show herself and to play a few pranks not only on the audience or the presenters, but also on the music stars themselves who will appear on stage.
"We will turn this show into a real Children's Imagination Planet, where all ages will enjoy watching the action. It will not be a simple awards show, but a show of surprises, pranks, laughter and music that will create an extraordinary experience for the whole family," promises Gediminas Jaunius, Chief Producer of ELITAZ.
The event will take place on 15 November at Klaipėda's Švyturys Arena and will be broadcast live on TV3. Tickets are on sale now.
