This year's best technology announced - Egidijus Dragūnas performs as an officer at the awards

The sixth edition of the Tech Top 2020 national technical awards took place tonight on LNK TV, where the best machines of the year were announced. The winners, as every year, were chosen by popular vote and a jury of experts, with a total of 35 technical categories awarded.

Due to the situation in the country this year, the producers of the awards, the creative house ELITAZ, decided to abandon the traditional show concept, where the winners were announced by well-known faces of the country, and each nomination was accompanied by a specially created performance by artists. Instead, the awards were presented in a completely new format - a musical comedy set in 1995.

Struck by lightning, Džilda Vaigauskienė (actress Ineta Stasiulytė) suddenly begins to see the future. Her visions include technical progress and the fates of famous people. Džilda begins to share her predictions with everyone she meets, but the predictions of the future of technology are more like delusions than reality. Jilda's uncontrollable behaviour eventually leads to her ending up in a mental hospital where she spends 25 years - until all her predictions finally become reality.

Together with the legendary Vaigauskas duo, the film's scenes also featured faces from the world of music and show business who have come back twenty-five years into the past: Džordana Butkutė, Inga and Arūnas Valinskai, Žilvinas Žvagulis, Irena Starošaitė, Birutė Dambrauskaitė, KaYra, Elena Puidokaitė, Liveta Kazlauskienė, Aleksandras Ivanauskas - Fara, Rebelheart, ŽAS, Bavarija, Skaiva Jasevičiūtė, Andrius Užkalnis, Asta Meschino and Erika Vitulskienė. Justinas Jarutis, Monique, Igor Kofas and Irma Jurgelevičiūtė also performed special musical numbers.

The singer Egidijus Dragūnas also played an exceptional role in the musical comedy, playing a traffic police officer who is mistakenly admitted to the psychiatric ward of a hospital.

During the film, the winners of eight categories were revealed in the visions of Jilda Vaigauskienė: television of the year, telephone of the year, computer of the year, kitchen appliances of the year, refrigeration appliances of the year, innovative product of the year, technical achievement of the year in Lithuania, and national brand of the year. The remaining categories were awarded and announced in a special webcast. The winners of the Tech Top 2020 Awards were:

6. Innovative Product of the Year - LG's RX9 OLED TV with roll-out screen.
7. Lithuanian Technical Achievement of the Year - Bacteo TOWER LAMP.
8. Samsung is the Nation Brand of the Year.
9. Gaming Brand of the Year - Sony Playstation 4.
10. Gaming PC of the Year - MSI GE66.
11. Photo Technology of the Year - Video camera for vloggers SONY ZV-1.
12. Women's Beauty Product of the Year - BRAUN Silk Epil 9.
13. Beauty product of the year for men - BRAUN SERIES 9.
14. Beauty Product of the Year - BRAUN Silk Epil 9.
15. Outdoor cooking product of the year - KAMADO JOE Classic III outdoor grill.
