On Saturday, 15 November, one of the most anticipated events of the year - the Children's Favourite 2025 Awards - took place in Klaipėda's Švyturys Arena. It is a show where Lithuanian children decide who their favourite things were this year - from songs, artists and sportspeople to books, films and toys. The awards have already been extremely popular, with almost 50,000 votes cast by children, schools, kindergartens, after-school centres and studios for their favourites.
Even before the main show, the stars and guests were greeted by a pink carpet, where the children of the presenter and opinion leader Indrė Kavaliauskaitė - Marija Barbora and Aleksandras - and the children's favourite, Netvarkos Nykvarkos Nyklštukas, talked to the celebrities. They not only asked daring questions to the invited guests, but also invited unexpected jokes and challenges.
The most colourful event of the year brought lots of laughter, emotions, surprises and a special celebration for the whole family. The awards ceremony was hosted by actors Gelminė Glemžaitė and Audrius Bružas, and the wonderful Kakė Makė. They were entrusted with the helm of the awards and the rhythm of the show, full of unexpected improvisations, pranks for the performers on stage and humour.
The audience was treated to spectacular performances, opening up new parts of the "Planet of Imagination": "The Roop opened the evening powerfully by becoming the planet's port, Paulina Paukštaitytė took us to the "valley of falling stars" where all dreams come true, Jauti went to the "canyon of emotions" where it was possible to unleash your emotions, and the OG Version opened the gates of the "oasis of screens", showing us just how interesting life can be when you take your eyes off the screens.
Meanwhile, Gabrielius Vagelis and Gintė prepared a fun performance in the "valley of kisses", where there can't be any kisses, and the family trio Anyanya, Cleo and their son King invited everyone to the "rhythm quarter", where everyone danced as if nobody could see them. The music stars were accompanied by the country's best dancers and talented children, who lifted the energy of an imaginative planet.
This year's Children's Favourites was also a special highlight for the younger generation - for the first time, the daughter of businesswoman Daina Bosa, Magdalena, made her debut on TV as a reporter for Žinių reporter, and was assisted by the son of singer Natalia Bunke, Kristupas, who is a presenter of the Children's Favourites 2025 news studio.
Twelve nominations were announced during the evening. "The favourites of Children's Favourite 2025 were awarded specially designed statuettes made by Idea 3D. The awards were broadcast live on TV3 TV.
