Another spectacular Citadel King Mindaugas Cup Final Four!

On 21-22 February, Šiauliai Arena briefly became the most important basketball venue in Lithuania, hosting the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup Final Four. For the second year in a row, the vision and creative implementation of the show was realised by the ELITAZ team together with the Lithuanian Basketball League, creating an experience that combined top-level sport and a spectacular entertainment programme for the spectators gathered at the arena as well as for those who watched the broadcast at home. 
 
This year, the rapper Pijus Opera attracted special attention by turning the presentation of the teams into a performance. He combined the presentations of the finalists with rhyme, rhythm and improvised but very apt descriptions.  
 
The stage design was ambitious, with a spectacular structure with a moving LED screen and an elevating stage. Paulina Paukštaitytė performed the national anthem of the Republic of Lithuania on this dynamic platform rising above the square - her sensitive performance was a meaningful and moving start to the evening. 
 

During the long break, the stage was transformed into a meeting point for music legends. Rosita Čivilytė, Česlovas Gabalis, Egidijus Sipavičius and Steponas Januška performed new arrangements and their best hits in an 8-minute show specially prepared for this event. Their energetic and nostalgic performance was crowned by the song "Kylam aukštai", which was one of the highlights of the evening.
