After receiving recommendations from the Minister of Health calling for the cancellation of mass events in Šiauliai, LNK TV decided to postpone the quarter-final of the Voice of Lithuania project, which was due to take place on 8 March in the Šiauliai Arena, and the semi-finals and final, which were to take place on 15 and 22 March in the arenas in Klaipėda and Vilnius.
"LNK has taken this difficult decision together with the entire Voice of Lithuania family - we cannot risk the health of our viewers and the project's fans. The mission of "Lietuvos balos" is to spread positivity, good energy, high level entertainment, so there cannot be even the slightest risk to our people. In our opinion, in view of the calls by the Minister of Health to cancel events, all event organisers must behave responsibly. We will hold the final battles of the Voice of Lithuania in May, when the situation will hopefully have improved and the concerts in the arenas will be a real celebration, a triumph of music and good mood, without any shadow of risk," Jurgis Jefremovas, LNK Programme Director, commented on the situation.
ELITAZ announces that the quarter-finals of the seventh season will be postponed to 17 May at Vilnius Siemens Arena, the semi-finals will be postponed to 24 May at Šiauliai Arena, and the final will take place on 31 May at Kaunas Žalgiris Arena. This rescheduling of the final battles means that the second edition of "Lietuvos hlasas. Children" season will start much earlier and will be aired on LNK TV next Sunday, 8 March.
"We have been monitoring the situation in Europe and have prepared a number of possible scenarios in case we have to adjust our plans. I want to thank the whole great team for their understanding and flexibility in adapting to the situation, as many people kindly agreed to adjust their plans so that we could move the dates of the planned events to May. The rescheduling of the live battles not only means that we will be invited to watch the culmination of the project in the spring, but also that the second edition of the Voice of Lithuania will be broadcast on LNK TV earlier than planned. Children" season premiere. From 8 March I invite you to settle down in the comfort of your cozy home and spend your Sunday evenings with the phenomenal "Lietuvos hlasas. Children", whose second season will be no less spectacular", - informs Gediminas Jaunius, the chief producer of the children's project, about the advanced launch.
In the event of a change of circumstances, the first event will be the "Voice of Lithuania. Children" final, the show of which will be moved to the Palanga Concert Hall on 10 May. However, those who have already bought tickets for the finals are urged not to rush to return them. All those who have tickets will be given the opportunity to exchange them for the finals on the new dates in May.
"We will give people who have bought tickets the opportunity to exchange them for the final fight in May. They will simply need to go to the ticket distributor's website and fill in the ticket exchange form there. Those who wish to return their tickets for a refund will need to go either to the place where they bought the tickets, if it was a ticket office, or to the ticket distributor's website. All ticket changes or refunds will be available from next Thursday, 5 March", explains Gediminas Jaunius.
Tonight, from 19:20, during the commercial breaks in the last duels show of "Voice of Lithuania", the project team invites everyone to join the live stream on the "Voice of Lithuania" Facebook page, where the host Rolandas Mackevičius will discuss the topic in more detail.
The first edition of "The Voice of Lithuania. Children", the second season of the project, will amaze them from next Sunday, 8 March, 19:30 on LNK.
