More than 20 000 singing applications and more than 1500 of them on stage - that's how many talents the team of the Voice of Lithuania project, which is known to probably every viewer, has met and listened to over the past 10 years. Such numbers prove not only that Lithuanians are a nation that cannot help singing, but also the maturity of Lithuanian television: the team of the creative house Elitaz, which is implementing the project, has not only successfully adapted the international format of The Voice in Lithuania, but has also become one of the leaders of the project, for example, being the first in the world to film a version of it called The Voice Generations (The Voice of Lithuania.Generations).
Looking forward to both new and returning talent
"Gediminas Jaunius, Elitaz's Chief Producer, says that on the occasion of the anniversary a long and festive season is being prepared for the fans, where along with the musical excitement there will be an infusion of pleasant jubilee nostalgia and festive surprises.
"Ten years is a really solid anniversary for a TV project, and we are going to celebrate it in a really powerful way. As we welcome the tenth year of The Voice TV format in Lithuania, we announce the auditions for the anniversary season of The Voice of Lithuania and invite all those who love to sing to get excited - this year, the big stage of The Voice will be open to the most talented voices in the country, whether they are singing solo, in a duet or a trio. What's more, we expect to see some bright comebacks on the occasion of the anniversary - singers who have already shone in the previous seasons will be welcomed this year as well", says Gedminas Jaunius.
Trampline to the world of music
"Over the past ten years, the Voice of Lithuania has not only discovered, but also helped a number of talents to enter the world of professional music: Monika Marija, Paulius Bagdanavičius, Evita Cololo - these voices have long since become the pride of the project and of the whole of Lithuania. The relevance of the modern format for the listeners and the precise decisions made by the teachers are also proved by the rapid entry of the youngest participants into the music market: the rapid growth of the winners of the Voice of Lithuania, Meide, the winner of the Lithuanian Voice, the winner of the Lithuanian Voice. Children" winner Džiugas or "Lietuvos hlasas. The winners of "Hey! Mix".
"Project formats such as "Lietuvos hlasas. Children" or "Lithuanian Voice. Intensive work with teachers and a large team of professionals helps to reveal talent at any stage of life. This is exactly what our participants did, with the youngest being 4 years old and the oldest 85 years old", says Gediminas Jaunius, adding that the project is exciting not only in terms of music but also in terms of stories. "We are constantly seeing dreams that have just been born or that have been awaited for a lifetime coming true."
As already mentioned, it will also be possible to fulfil your dream in the jubilee season: all you have to do is to fill in the form on the portal www.lnk.lt . This year, "Lietuvos Balsas" is looking forward to even more participants aged 16 years and over: not only soloists, but also duets or tercets - all the participants have to be able to sing, and, if they wish, they can accompany themselves with a musical instrument (however, it is not compulsory to do this).
