On the first Sunday of February, Lithuania attracted the attention of TV screens - the grand final of the Voice of Lithuania project was broadcast on LNK. It was the twelfth season of this professional music show.
After almost four hours of live broadcasting from the packed Twinsbet Arena, it was revealed who will be able to be called the Voice of Lithuania in 2025 and who won the prize of EUR 15,000 established by LNK.
The evening opened with a spectacular ten-minute show, where Mantas Jankavičius, Benas Aleksandravičius, Free Finga, Gabrielė Vilkickytė and Jessica Shy performed together with all their finalists. The opening ceremony started with Mantas Jankavičius and Rolandas Mackevičius sitting on the roof of the Twinsbet Arena, above which the spectators could also see a specially prepared Light a Sky and Epic Drone drone show. Mantas Jankavičius descended to the final stage from the ceiling of the arena, performing "Two on the Roof" with his finalists. The opening show continued with Gabrielė Vilkickytė and her finalists Sakalas, Domantas and Cleulia performing her teacher's song "Trolleybus". This was immediately followed by the highly anticipated premiere, where Jessica Shy and Marijan performed their new song "What have you done to me". Under spectacular candlelight, Free Finga sang the hit "Birch" with Vladas, and the show was closed with one of the first teacher's songs, "Sugebėk pasikeist", performed by Ben Aleksandravičius and his finalists.
During the final, all 10 finalists took to the stage for a spectacular show of live music, visuals, choreography and style. A team of professional artists, including dance studio Šok Šok, dance theatre Aura and Vilnius Voices, also contributed to the show. As usual, each musical piece in the final was accompanied by the live ELITAZ band.
After all 10 finalists had performed, the four with the most support from the audience went through to the Super Final. The audience votes were as follows:
Cleulia - 4337, Indre - 1123, Justina - 1114, Daumantas - 4210, Sid - 10437, Marijanas - 6091, Patricija - 7074, Sakalas - 6982, Eivilė - 5725, Vladas - 1974.
All teachers except Free Finger had their finalists in the Superfinals. Benas took Patricia to the superfinals, Jessica took Marijana, Mantas Jankavičius took Sida and Gabrielle took Sakala.
In the Super Final, the four contestants sang duets with their teachers for the first time, and the voting was restarted. The performances of the teachers and the finalists brought a storm of ovations to the arena, creating an unforgettable show. After the second audience vote, Sid won the Super Final with 18,076 votes, followed by Patricia in second place with 10,130 votes, Sakal in third place with 9,513 votes and Marijan in fourth place with 5,671 votes.
"I didn't expect to win at all. I remember from season 10 that being the leader in the voting table doesn't mean anything, because those votes change very quickly. I didn't believe I would win until the last moment. To tell you the truth, I thought Marijan would win because the whole arena was screaming his name. I didn't think it would be me at all. When they announced that I had won, my mind was just blank. It was hard to understand what had happened", said Sid, struggling to find the words after his victory.
Hundreds of thousands of viewers were attracted to the spectacular final of the Voice of Lithuania on their TV screens, and thousands more watched the top-class show live in the arena. Several hundred industry professionals worked on the grand finale, helping to create a spectacular spectacle and raise the bar for the show to new heights.
